The further I get into school the less time I have, therefore, posts on my blog will probably not be many for the coming months due to a huge school/work/life load. :-) However, if I do find time I will try and post some exciting things that are coming up! But for now, here's a little look at trip I took with some friends to see the Broadway musical "Newsies."I had seen the play once before at the Fox Theater in down town Atlanta and this time we took a road trip to Greenville South Carolina and made a day out of it! Our first stop was a pizza place because all of us were STARVING by the time we got to beautiful downtown Greenville. (I didn't get pictures of the pizza place because I was so focused on getting food.) After eating we had about an hour to kill so we walked around and saw the sights and did some window shopping! Can I just say, God's creation is pretty incredible. And beautiful. "The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth His handiwork." This waterfall was so peaceful. After the the show some of us came back to this spot (coffee in hand) and stood on the bridge overlooking the waterfall and had some great time of fellowship, sharing what God was doing in our lives, and sharing goals for the future. Then it was time for the show!!!!!! After the show it was time for more sight seeing and a few coffee stops in there too! It was so good to get out and do something fun before school had to start back! Had so much fun with all of you people who went! :-)
And to all my readers, hope everyone is having a smooth semester so far! Keep trusting Jesus for your strength for what every you've got going on these days. Honestly, with out Him, I can do NOTHING. That has become more clear to me in just the past couple of weeks more than ever before. He IS my strength, He IS my song, He IS my joy, and He IS my peace. In the midst of the storm He is my calm. He must be my everything. Have a great weekend!

New Year's Eve brought a sad day for myself and the rest of my family. We had to say goodbye to my dear much loved Peaches. Words can't express how much I miss her. God gave that dog to me in a time in my life when I most needed a friend that would love me unconditionally. She quickly made it clear that I was her human and we formed a tight bond that nothing could break. We were best friends. When we first got her I spent every afternoon with her sleeping in my lap or running around the yard playing with rocks (her toy of choice) and sticks. When she got bigger I was able to teach her tricks and teach her to run along side the bike while I rode. We went on more bike rides than I can count and even more walks. At the ends of our walks we would chill and she would cuddle up in my lap and we'd just sit back enjoying being together. She was always there to cheer me up and if I needed to cry she would sit with me and let me tell her all my problems and let me give her big hugs. She was who I went to if I had a secret that I wasn't supposed to tell anyone but just had to tell someone. She was pretty much the best dog in the whole wide world. No dog will ever be able to replace her. Peaches, God used you to teach me so much about patience, loyalty, unconditional love, and how to trust God. You impacted my life in a huge way. You were truly like my best friend. When you took your last breath you took a piece of my heart with you. I'll never forget your beautiful eyes, energetic personality, and all the love you gave me. I love you and words cannot express how much I miss you.

About Me
Hi! My name is Bethany. I'm so glad you've stopped in at my little corner of the internet! By way of introduction, I am a wife, musician, teacher, coffee lover, baker, nature lover, writer, and most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus. I'm super thankful that the Lord has given me this little outlet to share some of the things He has taught me, things that have inspired me, changed me or just gotten me excited about living life. My prayer is that what you read and see here will be an encouragement to your heart, bring you joy, and maybe even inspire you! Archives
