This morning I woke up to snow on the ground for the first time this winter. I kinda freaked out! We were supposed to get snow last week and that didn't really happen. But one thing I've been learning is that God's timing is perfect. Having a 'snow day' this week was perfect timing. We are having revival meetings at our church this week with Mr. John Van Gelderen. So far the sermons have been extremely convicting and just what I've been needing. This morning the canceled classes gave me time to reflect on what God has been teaching me.
I was readying in my Morning and Evening this morning and the verse for today was Ezekiel 34:26 "I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing." In this case instead of rain it was snow. God is the only one that can send weather issues to force us to relax, not be able to go anywhere, marvel at his creation, and take time to reflect on Christ and His work in us. So, on this beautiful Tuesday morning, I'm thanking God for the gorgeous snow, canceled classes, and most of all for His saving grace. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day, and if you are snowed in like some of us, take time to spend time with God and appreciate everything that Christ had done in your life. He has changed my life completely. And now just a couple of snow pictures! :-)

About Me
Hi! My name is Bethany. I'm so glad you've stopped in at my little corner of the internet! By way of introduction, I am a wife, musician, teacher, coffee lover, baker, nature lover, writer, and most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus. I'm super thankful that the Lord has given me this little outlet to share some of the things He has taught me, things that have inspired me, changed me or just gotten me excited about living life. My prayer is that what you read and see here will be an encouragement to your heart, bring you joy, and maybe even inspire you! Archives
