Last night in church we sang "No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus" It has been running through my head ever sense. If you don't know the song, look it up and read the words. They are so comforting and powerful!

Today me and mind friends had another craft show! This morning stared out way better than the last time! We were thanking God for the nice weather! The sun was shining so brightly and the sky was almost cloudless! We got there a little early so we had time to look around. Not far from where we were set up was a monument to all of our veterans. I was amazed when I ready it! it said "Dedicated to the glory of God, and to the Veterans of all wars." It isn't often that you find a monument "dedicated to the glory of God" and it was very encouraging to see! Although I personally didn't sell as much as I would have liked, we still had a good day and my friends did very well! :-) The people in the vendor next to us were advertizing an animal hospital, and to draw people in they had a baby squirrel in a cage and I went over to see it just in time! The lady was taking it out of the cage to feed it! (wish I had had a nicer camera with me) All in all it was a great day, and most importantly we had fun! Thank you, Hannah and Bizzie, for letting me be a part of your craft show! I had so much fun with you girls!
A couple of months back, I was giving my dog a bath. I had her around the scruff of the neck and she spotted a dragon fly flying by so she snapped at it. In the process of turning her neck VERY quickly, also turned my wrist and the action popped my wrist out of place. The next day I ended up going to the chiropractor and he popped it back in and told me not to play violin or piano for about two weeks. At the end of the two weeks it was still sore when I played violin, but thankfully I had no problem with piano. I continued to have trouble with it when I played violin and went back to the chiropractor several times. Time past and I quit going to the chiropractor and just figured it would heal on its own...which lead to yesterday. I mentioned that I was stilling having trouble with it so my parents decided it would be best for me to go back once more. The chiropractor seemed very worried and then told me "you either have a torn tendon, or a hairline fracture. It would be best if you didn't play your violin for a month or so." Thankfully I can still play piano, and I'm glad we're trying to get the problem figured out now instead of a couple of months down the road.
I'd be very grateful if you all would pray that my wrist heals quickly and that I don't have anymore problems with it. This past Saturday I, along with five friends had the opportunity to go and sell at a craft show. The morning started out sprinkling and then later once we got our tent set up it started to rain really hard. We were hoping it would let up, but it just kept getting worse... We ended up having to put half of our stuff away to keep it from getting soaked therefore I didn't get to sell one thing. We eventually just pack up and went home. Even though we got rained out, we still had a great time! Thankfully I was able to get some pictures before it started to rain too hard! Had so much fun with these girls! Hopefully we will be more successful next time!
This morning my family was all over the place! My parents and my oldest sister were out shopping, another one of my sisters was at work, and the third sister was at school. I was at home doing school and trying to get some crafts done for the up coming craft show. I was tired of sitting and so I got up and went to the basement door. When I opened it this huge *and I mean HUGE (at least 2 or 2 1/2 inches long)* bug flew in and started flying all over the place. I'm not normally scared of bugs but this one was so big and so creepy looking and I couldn't make myself get close enough to it to kill it. Seeing as my whole family was gone and I couldn't call upon them for assistance. My mind was racing and my heart was pounding. It felt like the bug was chasing me or something and I found myself running back and forth in the room trying to stay away from it. Weeeeelllll, I decided to open the door and let Peaches *my dog* into the basement. (Our dogs are outside dogs only and they aren't allowed to come into the basement but in my opinion this was a dire emergency.) Peaches promptly caught site of the bug *it wasn't hard to miss* and stared chasing it all over the basement. With in three minutes she had finally cornered and killed it! I praised her to the end of the century! As I told one of my friends over text a few minutes later "She is my hero for the day!" I love that dog even more than I did before!

About Me
Hi! My name is Bethany. I'm so glad you've stopped in at my little corner of the internet! By way of introduction, I am a wife, musician, teacher, coffee lover, baker, nature lover, writer, and most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus. I'm super thankful that the Lord has given me this little outlet to share some of the things He has taught me, things that have inspired me, changed me or just gotten me excited about living life. My prayer is that what you read and see here will be an encouragement to your heart, bring you joy, and maybe even inspire you! Archives
