Wow. I can't believe that this summer is already almost half way over. It feels like I just took my last final of the school year. And yes, my summer has been extremely full and busy (thus the lack of blog posts!) So just as a little update on what I've been up to... School got out and I jumped into a ton of hours at work. (I know...boring) Working was broken up by hours of practicing and getting ready for a friend's senior recital which I was honored to play in. It was held at this awesome little opre house way out in the middle of know where and when I got there I then found out that Roy Rogers had once performed there. (And yes I fan girled a little....I mean come on! I grew up watching Roy Rogers all. The. Time!) The monotony of practicing and working was broken up by two short camping trips. The first to Vogal State Park. If you've never been there and like to camp and spend time in Gods beautiful creation, GO THERE!!! It's absolutely breath taking. And if you do go, take friends. I was blessed to go with Lily, Sarah, Olivia, Melody, Grace, and Ruthanna. Here's a couple of pictures! The second camping trip was even shorter and I didn't get a chance to take many pictures, but a group of about 8 people went to a friends back yard and camped. It was a great time of fellowship and wonderful camp food (cause everything tastes better when you cook it over a camp fire) and all around was a really relaxing weekend. Like I said before, I didn't get to take many pictures of that trip, but here's a couple. After those two trips, I was back to work for two weeks then I was off to New Jersey to visit a friend for a week. She was so sweet to show me all over the place! Cape May, Barnegat Lighthouse, Barnegat Bay, and Long Beach Island, not to mention Harold's New York Deli (which has the largest portions EVER) it was an awesome trip and a great experience! Thanks Bri!! Yep. I've pretty much been all over the place already this summer...and still have a few more adventures ahead of me Lord willing! Life is exciting! Live it to the fullest! God created the world for His pleasure and our enjoyment. Go explore it when you have the chance. Going to different places thus far, it has been so cool to see how different and unique each spot is and yet all so beautiful. We serve an awesome Creator. Just think, if the earth is this beautiful, think about how wonderfully beautiful Heaven will be. Hope everyone is having an awesome summer! (New summer travel posts should be coming soon [hopefully]) On a side note, I have become slightly obsessed with authentic Mexican food. A friend of mine came across an awesome little Mexican place that has everything you could think of. Everything from Tacos Al Pastors to Sangria (non alcoholic of course) and Sopés. It's so good. Anyways, happy summer!

About Me
Hi! My name is Bethany. I'm so glad you've stopped in at my little corner of the internet! By way of introduction, I am a wife, musician, teacher, coffee lover, baker, nature lover, writer, and most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus. I'm super thankful that the Lord has given me this little outlet to share some of the things He has taught me, things that have inspired me, changed me or just gotten me excited about living life. My prayer is that what you read and see here will be an encouragement to your heart, bring you joy, and maybe even inspire you! Archives
