Ok. I'll admit it. My aspirations of keeping up with my blog over Christmas break didn't really come to fruition. Time got away from me. I have no excuses. So, dear readers, forgive me! I truly hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas season full of family, friends, and remembering the real REASON for the season. Anyways, the New Year is fast approaching. I can hardly believe it. It is really almost 2015. Like what???!!!?! Where did the time go???...Seeing as so much time has passed, I have a couple of pictures to share that will give you a clue into what I've been doing with myself for the past 3 weeks. :-) We set up our Christmas tree...sorry for the bad quality of the picture....I wasn't in the mood to drag out the nice camera. Did Christmas cookies with my family...these particular cookies are being decorated by my Uncle Ronnie! He did an awesome job! And YES! This is considered cooking...so I guess we can't say he never cooks anymore... :-) (you're welcome Uncle Ronnie!) :-D Had an awesome Christmas day with my family!! Had another Christmas cookie baking party with a bunch of friends (who's names are listed on the cookie below. How Grace fit all the names on one cookie, I'll never know.) And that pretty much brings me up to know as far as pictures go. I also got the chance to make some really yummy muffins of which I hope to share the recipe sometime soon, so I'm saving those pictures for a later post! Anyways, I hope everyone has a happy New Year!

Ahhh! Christmas break is literally 4 hours away. I have one more final and then I'm done with school for the semester. So excited about that! It's been such a busy past couple of weeks. I've been studying so much that the first thing I think when I wake up is history terms and mathematical equations, and the occasional English term. Thankfully the end is almost here! I'm so excited!! So, now that my schedule has slowed down a little bit I'm going to try and catch up on blogging a little bit! Here's a small glimpse into our Thanksgiving (btw, I hope everyone had a great one! I chose to leave my computer alone and just be with family. It had been WAY too long sense all of us had been home all day.) Also, the other exciting thing that has happened sense my last post was finally getting some Christmas decorations out and putting up our tree! And yes, I've pretty much been listening to Christmas music nonstop sense Thanksgiving! To all of you college students that might still have some finals tomorrow and in the next week or so, I'm praying for yall! Hope everyone does well and is able to think clearly. I know I'm really thankful for all the people who have been praying for me during my past 3 finals and are continuing to pray for me through my last final!

About Me
Hi! My name is Bethany. I'm so glad you've stopped in at my little corner of the internet! By way of introduction, I am a wife, musician, teacher, coffee lover, baker, nature lover, writer, and most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus. I'm super thankful that the Lord has given me this little outlet to share some of the things He has taught me, things that have inspired me, changed me or just gotten me excited about living life. My prayer is that what you read and see here will be an encouragement to your heart, bring you joy, and maybe even inspire you! Archives
